Adelphi Ranked a Top University for Equality Opportunity, LGBTQ+ Support

Garden City, NY (06/20/2024) — Adelphi University continues to receive national recognition for its commitment to equal opportunities and LGBTQIA+ community allyship. Both are priorities of the University's Momentum 2 strategic plan to welcome students, faculty and staff members of all backgrounds, belief systems and individual expressions and to provide them with equal access to the opportunities and support they need to succeed at Adelphi and beyond.

Equal Opportunity Magazine ranks Adelphi among its Top 20 Universities for 2024, based on a survey of its readers to assess a university's diversified curriculum and student base, and how faculty and staff foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment. The magazine, launched in 1968 as the first diversity career publication in the United States, is read by over 100,000 members of minority groups who are students, entry-level employees and professionals in all career disciplines. Adelphi will be featured in its July 2024 issue.
