Adelphi to Host Bharat Bhise for Discussion on Achieving Global Business Success on October 11
Garden City, NY (10/07/2022) — Bharat Bhise, founder and CEO of Bravia Capital, will share his expertise on achieving success in the global business world at Adelphi University on Tuesday, October 11. The lecture will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Adelphi's Ruth S. Harley University Center.
"Pillars for a Successful Global Business" will focus on the highly successful career of Bhise, a 1978 graduate of Adelphi's Robert B. Willumstad School of Business, and investor in the global transportation, leasing and logistics industries.
"I am very excited to deepen my connection to Adelphi University and share my experience in some of the causes for trans-border successes and failures," said Bhise. "Adelphi will be hosting an amazing talent of international thought leaders in the coming years and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this program designed to develop our students as informed and engaged global citizens."
Bhise is a first-generation American, living in three continents these last 40 years. Over several decades he has developed a unique skill set, negotiating complex trans-border transactions, especially in Asia. He has managed $40 billion in transportation finance businesses including aircraft leasing, ship leasing, container leasing, trailer leasing and various other related assets. He lives in New York City and is deeply engaged in philanthropic ventures surrounding national security, gender equality and anti-racism.
