Garden City, NY (03/24/2022) — Shawana Singletary has been named Adelphi University's new assistant vice president and chief enrollment officer. In this role, she is responsible for driving international, undergraduate, and graduate admissions and enrollment.
"I am so grateful that my experiences in education have led me to Adelphi University," said Singletary. "The campus is beautiful and everyone I've met has been extremely warm and welcoming. I can see why Adelphi has been the choice for its students.
Most recently serving as director of admissions and recruitment at Metropolitan College of New York, Singletary brings to Adelphi 14 years of experience as a leader in admissions, financial aid and marketing in higher education. She also has served in admissions roles in Manhattan School of Computer Technology, Berkeley College and DeVry College of New York.
