Adelphi Hosts Lecture on Corporate Social Responsibility in the Cannabis Industry

Garden City, NY (10/24/2022) — Cannabis companies are in a unique position to showcase and educate the public about what a socially responsible industry could look like. On Wednesday, November 2, Adelphi University will host a lecture on corporate social responsibility with cannabis industry professionals.

Together with members of the senior leadership team at Curaleaf, Khadijah Tribble and 1985 Adelphi graduate Joseph Bayern, the lecture will explore social responsibility at Curaleaf, along with what responsibility cannabis companies play in the social impact of cannabis. They will also examine how the commercialization of cannabis will affect the industry and society and delve into other relevant areas of the big business of cannabis.

The lecture is sponsored by the Hagedorn Lectureship on Corporate Social Responsibility.

"Corporate Social Responsibility in the Cannabis Industry," will be held in Adelphi's Ruth S. Harley University Center, Room 201, at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
