Adelphi PAC Presents "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Garden City, NY (03/04/2026) — Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) will bring to life the classic musical "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27. This performance, taking place in the Adelphi PAC Concert Hall, highlights the talents of Adelphi students in this beloved theatrical work.

Based on Charles M. Schulz's iconic "Peanuts" comic strip, the musical offers a series of charming vignettes that explore the everyday adventures and challenges of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and their friends. Audiences can expect memorable numbers such as "My New Philosophy," "The Book Report," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness."

"You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" features book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, with additional dialogue by Michael Mayer and additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This production, spearheaded by Adelphi's Department of Music, includes students from across the University including business marketing, communication disorder sciences, music, neuroscience, psychology, and theatre majors.

The production is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC and is part of The Poole Family Broadway Series at the Adelphi PAC, generously sponsored by Mary Jane '62 and Thomas Poole.

Tickets are currently on sale online for all performances, with discounts available to seniors, students, Adelphi alumni, and employees. For more information, contact the Lucia and Steven N. The box office is open for phone and in-person sales Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and is also open two hours before all ticketed performances.
