Adelphi Performing Arts Center to Host "Broadway Sings America: 1776-2026" on May 16

Garden City, NY (04/29/2026) — Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (PAC) will present "Broadway Sings America: 1776-2026," on May 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall. This event celebrates 250 years of American history through Broadway music.

The concert will feature selections from musicals such as "Hamilton," "Suffs," "Hair," "Ragtime," "Hairspray," and "1776," highlighting pivotal moments in the nation's history. The North Shore Symphony Orchestra (under the direction of Harry Marenstein), along with Broadway vocalists, will perform these pieces.

"Broadway Sings America: 1776-2026" is part of the Poole Family Broadway Series at Adelphi PAC, generously sponsored by Mary Jane '62 and Thomas Poole. The series aims to bring high-quality Broadway performances to the local community.
