Adelphi Symphony Orchestra to Perform at Adelphi PAC on April 17
Garden City, NY (04/02/2026) — The Adelphi Symphony Orchestra will present an evening of classical and contemporary music on Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the Concert Hall of Adelphi's Performing Arts Center (PAC). This event will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
Under the direction of Susan Weber, the orchestra unites students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to create a powerful musical family that performs music that sparks joy, curiosity, and reflection.
The program includes:
- Beethoven: Symphony No. 1
- Bach/Ormandy: Chorale Prelude "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme"
- Bizet: Selections from Carmen Suite No. 1
- Boccherini: Concerto for Cello and Orchestra featuring Aaron Goldstein, a graduating senior
- Kreisler: Sicilienne and Rigaudon for Violin and Orchestra featuring Marina Kelley-Renda, a graduating senior
