Adelphi University Achieves Global Recognition in Times Higher Education 2026 Subject Rankings
Garden City, NY (02/02/2026) — Adelphi University continues to expand its global academic footprint, earning a new 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) ranking in the Medical and Health discipline along with continued recognitions for its Social Sciences, Psychology and Education programs.
This marks the third straight year of honors for the latter three subjects, with Psychology and Education leading the University's performance in the THE World University Rankings by Subject for 2026.

THE evaluates universities using 18 performance indicators across five pillars: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook, providing a comprehensive view of academic and research excellence. Adelphi's ranking places it among the top 1,200 universities worldwide, out of more than 25,000 institutions.
The THE subject rankings follow Adelphi's recognition as one of the world's most prestigious universities in THE's World University Rankings in 2026 for the fourth consecutive year. Adelphi is the only private university on Long Island to make this list of more than 2,000 institutions from 115 countries and territories.
