Adelphi University Invites Community to Ninth Annual Spirit Weekend Celebration
Garden City, NY (09/09/2025) — Adelphi University will host its ninth annual Spirit Weekend from October 3 to 5, 2025, at its Garden City campus. The event invites students, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, families, and community members to participate in a variety of activities celebrating Panther pride.
The weekend's festivities include the Spirit Carnival, Casino Night, Adelphi Oktoberfest, and the Panthers for a Cause 5K, 1K, and Kids Fun Run. The Kids Fun Run is recommended for children ages 2 to 7, with all participants receiving a medal.
Other events feature campus tours for prospective students, alumni games for baseball and softball, and the All Alumni Brunch & Spirit Awards. The Spirit Carnival and Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, October 4, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Post Hall parking lot. The Panthers for a Cause races are scheduled for Sunday, October 5, starting at 9 a.m. on campus.
