Adelphi University to Launch Historic Fundraising Campaign at 24th Annual President's Gala

Garden City, NY (09/10/2024) — Adelphi University will host its 24th Annual President's Gala on Saturday, September 21, at the Garden City Hotel in Garden City, New York. This year's Gala will serve as the official launch of the University's most ambitious fundraising effort to date: The Momentum Campaign: Extraordinary Impact. The Momentum Campaign aims to raise $100 million by 2027, furthering Adelphi's mission of transforming lives through strategic innovation and a student-centered approach.

"I am thrilled to host my 10th Gala as Adelphi's president and officially launch the largest fundraising campaign in the University's history surrounded by our community, loyal donors and esteemed honorees," said Christine M. Riordan, PhD, president of Adelphi University. "Extraordinary student outcomes are elevating Adelphi as a leader in modern higher education, and we have never been in a better position to take the next bold step toward an even stronger future."

This year's Gala will honor the visionary benefactors of Adelphi's Million Dollar Roundtable, recognizing individuals who have generously given or committed $1 million or more to the University.

Adding to the evening's excitement, Tony-nominated Broadway star Jarrod Spector, best known for his roles in Hamilton, Jersey Boys and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, will deliver a special performance
