Carole J. Bufford to Perform at Adelphi on November 8

Bufford is one of the most sought-after young performers in the New York cabaret and jazz scene.

Garden City, NY (11/05/2020) — Award-winning vocalist Carole J. Bufford will bring her cabaret talents to Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Sunday, November 8. Bufford's performance will be streamed live from the Westermann Stage at Adelphi's Concert Hall beginning at 5 p.m. EST as part of the Live From Adelphi Concert Series.

Working with talented Broadway and cabaret singers, Bufford will celebrate songstresses of the '60s and '70s with music made famous by Janis Joplin, Dusty Springfield, Tina Turner, Carole King, Lesley Gore, Dionne Warwick, Cher and others. Putting her own inimitable spin on these classics, she will delve into a time of great change and transition in America and "across the pond."

Bufford is one of the most sought-after young performers in the New York cabaret and jazz scene. She is also a recipient of the Nightlife, Bistro, and Broadway World Awards for Outstanding Vocalist. Her recent shows, speak easy., featuring the Grammy Award-winning Vince Giordano and The Nighthawks, and Body & Soul, earned her rave reviews across the board, including in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

The Live From Adelphi Concert Series is presented by RJ Productions, Spot-On Entertainment and Adelphi University. This series of live concerts will bring talented Broadway and cabaret performers to our stage on Sunday afternoons throughout November and December.
