Investment in a Post-Pandemic World: Real Estate Experts to Share Tips at Adelphi Panel Discussion

Garden City, NY (01/18/2024) — As companies continue to adjust to the ever-evolving landscape of hybrid workplaces, is commercial and residential real estate-especially in large cities like Manhattan-still a wise investment? On February 13, Adelphi University will host a panel of experts at the forefront of the industry who will share their strategic guidance, insights and takeaways about the real estate market.

Panelists will include: Dottie Herman, vice chair emerita of Douglas Elliman, Mike Graziano, co-head of the Global Real Estate Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and Josh Rahmani '06, co-founder of Empire Capital Holdings and several companies spanning the real estate, private equity, hospitality, technology and retail industries. The discussion will be moderated by Greg Carey P '23, Chairman of Public Finance and Head of Goldman Sachs' Global Sports Financing Franchise.

Adelphi's "Great Minds, Great Conversations: Real Estate Investment in a Post-Pandemic World," will focus on the status of commercial and residential real estate in terms of value, occupancy and development, economic trends affecting real estate investing and what it means for the rental property market. This event is part of Adelphi's "Great Minds, Great Conversations Series" which regularly brings industry leaders and professionals to the University to discuss trending topics.

The panel will be held at Adelphi's Ruth S. Harley University Center, Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom. A reception open to attendees will precede the lecture from 6 to 7 p.m. with the program beginning at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, registration is required.
