Long Island Comedy Festival Presents New Year's LAUGHIN' EVE at Adelphi's PAC on Dec. 31

Garden City, NY (12/06/2023) — Long Island comedian, producer, and promoter Paul Anthony is bringing a night of laughs to the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (PAC) with two performances of his popular New Year's LAUGHIN' EVE comedy show on New Year's Eve, Sunday, December 31. The shows will feature a full line-up of top comedians.

New Year's LAUGHIN' Eve is in its 15th year. Due to the show's popularity, there will be two performances: a 6 p.m. Early Bird and 8 p.m. Prime Time. The event is produced by the Long Island Comedy Festival.

"You'll be hard pressed to find this much comic talent all on one stage anywhere else, which is what distinguishes our comedy shows, and has made them so popular," says Anthony. "The shows are upbeat, fun and as we like to say, they are the perfect way to LAUGH IN the New Year. People need to laugh more, and our goal or mission with all of our comedy shows is to help them do just that."

Comedians include:

Rich Walker, a national headliner who has performed at top venues around the country. He was voted Long Island's Favorite Comedian two years in a row.

Rob Falcone headlines at venues around the country and is also an actor. He has been seen on Law and Order, Blue Bloods, Orange is the New Black, and HBO's The Sopranos.

Scott Baker is half of the improv comic duo of Baker & Mark: The Quickest Thinkers in Comedy. He has performed at venues in the Catskills, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas.

National headliner Vinnie Mark, the other half of the Baker & Mark improv duo, is a veteran comedian who has appeared on late night TV and has performed at the Mohegan Sun Casino and top theaters across the U.S.

Paul Anthony has performed his stand-up comedy at top venues throughout the U.S. In 2006, he launched the Long Island Comedy Festival and The Comedy Club @ Theatre Three, a 90-seat comedy venue at the historic theatre in Port Jefferson. Other productions Anthony has created and produced include The Berkshire Comedy Festival, Mom's Night Out Long Island, and the 50+ Comedy Tour. In 2011, he helped develop the Paramount Comedy Series in Huntington, producing and performing 19 shows over a three year period. He has shared the stage with such top comedians as Louie Anderson and Robert Klein. Anthony lives in Massapequa with his wife Kathy and their Golden Doodle Marley, who is the Official Mascot for the Long Island Comedy Festival.

The audience can also expect a surprise guest comedian.
