Registration for Second Adelphi Summer Session Now Open

From July 6 to August 9, Adelphi will offer a variety of courses

Garden City, NY (06/01/2021) — Summer at Adelphi University is a great opportunity to help students get ahead, catch up or even learn new skills. From July 6 to August 9, Adelphi will offer a variety of online, hybrid, and in-person courses as part of their second Summer Session.

Courses are for current Adelphi students (undergraduate and graduate) and those admitted for this fall, along with visiting students from other colleges and universities, and high school students.

Students looking for alternative dates can explore special sessions and condensed courses that will run at various times spanning May through August.

Programs include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Photography, Emerging Trends in Genetics, Free Speech, Media Law And Democracy, From Disney To Burton And Beyond: The History Of Animation, and more.

"Adelphi has continued to make it easier to help students move ahead, catch up and stay on track academically," said Salvatore Petrilli, EdD, associate dean for general education and academic operations, director of Adelphi's summer programming. During Summer 2021, you can explore a wide variety of courses -- from accounting to video game design -- all with modalities that fit your schedule."

Most summer session courses will be offered at discounted rates.

The University also will host a Virtual Pre-College Certificate Program, a 4-day non-credit experience where high school students can participate in academic and college-readiness workshops.
