Getting hired in 2024: A virtual discussion with HR Leaders at Adelphi
Garden City, NY (03/01/2024) — How can job seekers stand out and be hired in 2024? A panel of human resources leaders will share how to secure a job in tech companies at Adelphi University on Thursday, March 7. The event will be held virtually from noon to 1 p.m.
During the panel discussion, HR professionals will share their knowledge of industry observations and best practices. The interactive conversation will be moderated by Michael Hurley, global accounts manager at Heap, with 15 years of experience in digital analytics and market research.

Brian Lawlor, Head of Human Resources at Estee Lauder
Lawlor is a global Human Resources professional possessing a strategic mindset in all facets of human resources, workforce management and organizational development. He has over 20 years experience at creating programs and initiatives to meet the needsof the employee base, and creating Talent Strategies to support his businesses.
Matt Metzger, Global Head of People, Talent and Culture at Clarifai
Metzger is a 2009 Adelphi graduate. After 4 years of playing on the Adelphi's Men's Soccer Team, Metzger was asked to join the coaching staff as an assistant coach, where his passion for recruitment and building strong teams began. Two years later, he joined the corporate world in NYC as a Recruiter and Account Manager, where he continued to cultivate his talent for networking, establishing relationships, and developing as a leader.
Eddie Renaurd, President of People and Operations at Whalar
Renard's unconventional path to success underlines his innovative philosophy, leadership, and willingness to look outside the box. He started his professional career in yellow page/digital ad sales, then moved into the staffing/recruitment world and he ultimately landed a role leading people and operations. His significant role in the development of three startups, two of which were in the AI tech sector, highlights his impact and a forward-thinking approach.
