Adelphi Hosts Annual Spirit Weekend 5K, Kids Fun Run

Garden City, NY (10/08/2021) — Adelphi University welcomes community members to join in their 5th annual 5K and celebrate the University's historic 125th anniversary on Saturday, October 16. Participants can run, walk or stroll in-person on Adelphi's Garden City campus or virtually to benefit Panthers for a Cause.

Children ages 2-7 can join in with the Kids Fun Run beginning at 9 a.m., ahead of the adult event at 9:30 a.m.

Registration for adults (in-person or virtual) is $25, kids are free of charge and students are $10.

The 5K is one of many events planned in celebration of Adelphi's Spirit Weekend. Other events include the Panthers Carnival, Casino Night and Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.

Most Adelphi Spirit Weekend events are open to the public.
