Adelphi Hosts Industry Experts for Discussion on Best Practices for Strategic Sourcing

Garden City, NY (02/22/2023) — Strategic sourcing is a vital approach to supply chain management that involves many important processes in an organization. On Thursday, March 2, a panel discussion hosted by Adelphi University's Don Center will break down the importance of sourcing in an organization and how innovations can enhance the process with help from industry experts.

The event, "Sourcing Strategies," will be held at 12 p.m. in an online format.

Expert panelists will include Marlene Johnson, senior sourcing manager at Assurant, Lawrence Kane, member of the SIG Sourcing Supernova Hall of Fame, and Marcell Vollmer, chief executive officer at Prospitalia Group. The discussion will be moderated by Jiang Zhang, professor of Decision Sciences and Marketing in Adelphi's Willumstad School of Business.

This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
