Adelphi Named a Top Global University by Times Higher Education
Garden City, NY (10/15/2025) — For the fourth consecutive year, Adelphi University has been recognized among the world's most prestigious universities.
In the newly released Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026, Adelphi is the only private university on Long Island to make this list of more than 2,000 institutions from 115 countries and territories.
Of more than 2,300 four-year colleges and universities in the United States, Adelphi was just one of 171 colleges selected for inclusion in the THE's 2026 rankings-placing it in the top 8% in the nation. Adelphi maintained its national ranking of 166 and ranks in the 1501+ category worldwide.
