Adelphi Nursing Show Strong 2024 1st Quarter Pass Rates
Garden City, NY (05/08/2024) — Adelphi's College of Nursing and Public Health has sustained a measurable improvement in 2024 with a 1st quarter National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) pass rate of 93 percent. This strong 1st quarter comes after the College reported a 96% percent pass rate for the 4th quarter of 2023 - an all-time high.
"Our programs continue to grow and flourish and our rankings have seen significant gains. These NCLEX results reflect our continued focus on student success which is directly correlated with the ongoing efforts of our dedicated faculty who prepare our future nurses combined with our highly motivated students," said Deborah Hunt, PhD, dean of Adelphi's College of Nursing and Public Health.
In addition to impressive NCLEX pass rates, Adelphi's Psychiatric Mental Health NP certification exam pass rate is 94% for students who graduated in Dec 2022, and the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP certification exam pass rate is 96% for students who graduated in May 2023.
Currently, 1,386 undergraduates and 303 graduate and doctoral students are enrolled in the College, where they study and practice in Adelphi's state-of-the-art Nexus Building.
