Adelphi Performing Arts Center Ranked Among Top 35 in US

Garden City, NY (03/16/2022) — Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) has been named one of the top collegiate performing arts centers in the United States by Clickit Ticket. Adelphi PAC is featured among 35 other colleges and universities.

"The performing arts centers on this list are beautiful places to enjoy the arts, regardless of whether you're experiencing a theatrical or musical production," said Clickit Ticket. "These centers have the aesthetic, acoustic, and technological qualities necessary for an unforgettable show."

The Adelphi PAC, opened in 2008 on the University's Garden City campus, is one of Long Island's premier cultural arts venues for entertainment of all kinds. It is home to five performance spaces: Black Box theater, Concert Hall, Dance theater, Olmsted theater, and Recital Hall. All five spaces are intimate and host a variety of dance, music and theatre performances.

"As audiences start returning to live performances, it's always great to be recognized for the hard work our students, faculty, staff and guest artists have been doing for the last 14 years," said Blyth Daylong, executive director of the Adelphi PAC. "While we were able to keep performances going throughout the pandemic with live streaming from our flexible venues, we're thrilled to be welcoming our dedicated Long Island and greater New York audiences back for the irreplaceable experience of live performances."

The PAC is reviewed alongside performing arts centers such as Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State, Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, and the Performing Arts Center of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
