GRAMMY-winning Ensemble Imani Winds Returns to the Adelphi PAC

Garden City, NY (10/10/2025) — GRAMMY-Winning wind quintet Imani Winds will return to the Westermann Stage at Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center (PAC) for a night of classical and contemporary works. The concert will be held on Friday, October 24 at 7 p.m.

The dynamic quintet will bring a playlist that embraces traditional chamber music repertoire to Adelphi PAC. They will also perform newly commissioned works from voices that reflect historical events and the times in which we currently live.

Imani Winds is widely recognized for its unique and diverse programming, including both established and newly composed works. The group is four times nominated for the GRAMMY Awards and was the 2024 winner in the Classical Compendium category for Jeff Scott's "Passion for Bach and Coltrane" released on their recently formed record label, Imani Winds Media.

Tickets start at $35, with discounts available to seniors, students, Adelphi alumni and employees. For more information, call the Lucia and Steven N. Regular box office hours are Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and the box office is also open two hours before all ticketed performances.
